- Elin Granlund Added February 09, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★Really lovely place! Included breakfast, nice pool and sun chairs. They have activities in the nights which is s good way to connect with the other guests. They serve food that is not too expensive. Very clean and nice staff!
- Emma Rose Added January 31, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★Very good hostel. The rooms were clean and nicely done up. There are two showers and a seperate toilet in each dorm, which was great. The staff was nice and friendly. The pool is beautiful and there are many opportunities to chill out. In the afternoon there’s a great meal deal: 12$ for a burger/ wrap with chips and a basic drink. Definitly worth it. In the afternoon you can have a lot of fun at the bar with beer pong, etc. and cash prices. The only thing I have to criticize is, that the laundry was quite expensive (6$ washing mashine, 5$ dryer). I highly recommend this hostel.
- Youri van den Hurk Added January 27, 2020★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆If you ask a $10 deposit to use a plate and some cutlery you already start of on the wrong foot (whatever the reason for that may be). In general City Backpackers HQ is a massive hostel in a good location (with a great view) but really average rooms, beds and small showers. Would not recommend, all the big Brisbane hostels are in the same street so you can easily pick another one with a similar view but better facilities.
