  Terrible Service from Rothwell Site
  
  We tried to rent a 9m x 3m open air lot for our boat at Rothwell site in Qld. Upon inspection, there was a big pile of gravel taking up 1.5m at the end of the lot which we were told was used for potholes. We asked for it to be moved so we could get the boat in and were told that the pile of gravel could not be moved. Only 7.5m was usable space but had to pay for 9m and was told the boat was not allowed to stick out the front. The young lady showing us around was no help whatsoever, just kept repeating we can't move it. Absolutely pointless and a huge waste of time. This was going to be long term storage but clearly they don't want our business.

  Booked a unit for September 28th. Called them 24th September to cancel. After many phone calls and over a month we are still waiting for our refund of over $400.

  These guys think nothing of putting your rent up 20%, make sure you shop around and get a fixed price contract for a 12 month period if you are paying month by month.

  They increase their rent every year. Last year I paid $222 per month. Next month I'll start paying $231. Significant price increases-- as if to deter you from staying longer with them. They do not have a fair pricing scheme nor do they have a price for multiple year contracts for longer term tenants.

  I ended my contract a few days after the the beginning of the month payment came out was told the difference would be refunded into my account when I called to enquire about how long the refund would take I was told that they had just changed their policy and no longer refund the difference they have stolen the 3 weeks extra rent and basically told me to cop it when I asked to speak to a supervisor or someone that could actually sort this I was told make a complaint and deal with it ,it is absolutely disgusting service they did not notify me of any changes in my contact nor when they raised my monthly rental cost 1 month after changing units it’s disgraceful service I wouldn’t recommend using there facilities they charge more than any other storage facility and don’t contact tenants when making changes to your contact
